Vice Chairman of Guy Carpenter and Chairman of Risk Frontiers Holdings, bringing over four decades of leadership in the insurance and reinsurance industries. He is recognised for his strategic leadership, operational excellence, and contributions to both corporate growth and industry development.
He has held senior and board-level roles across notable organisations including Guy Carpenter, Risk Frontiers, ANZIIF, LongGrove Insurance, and Heart Research Australia. In these roles, he has driven significant initiatives—from implementing critical systems and business continuity plans to executing high-level governance reforms and successful company transitions.
At Guy Carpenter, he has serviced major accounts such as ARPC, Allianz, and QBE, and was instrumental in the implementation of their current system back in 2001. At Risk Frontiers, he helped lead the spin-out from Macquarie University and continues to support its global analytics strategy as Chairman.
He is also widely regarded as a mentor and educator, having contributed for 35+ years to the Reinsurance Study Course and co-founded the Women in Reinsurance initiative. His commitment to governance and industry innovation earned him the Order of Australia Medal in 2019 for services to the insurance industry and charities.
