These insights have enhanced risk modelling, improved planning, and strengthened adaptation strategies across multiple sectors.
Mark has played a pivotal role in national-scale projects focused on enhancing Australia’s resilience to extreme weather. This includes leading initiatives for one of the country’s largest insurers, as well as contributing through various committees of the Insurance Council of Australia to support industry-wide efforts in making homes and businesses safer in a changing climate.
Through collaboration with major industry bodies, boards, and senior leaders, Mark has helped develop resilience frameworks and inform catastrophe risk management.
