Maxime recently joined Risk Frontiers at the end of 2021 as a risk scientist to support and improve existing Cat-Loss models as well as assisting the ClimateGLOBE project.
Maxime’s interests focus on physical oceanography and climate sciences. He holds a PhD in Quantitative Marine Science from the University of Tasmania. During his PhD, Maxime investigated global characteristics, changes and drivers of marine heatwaves, to improve our knowledge of these ocean extreme weather events.
His experience with extremes and profound understanding of the intricate ocean-atmosphere climate system increases the span of Risk Frontiers’ expertise.
