Salomé Hussein completed her B.Sc. in Chemistry from the University of Alaska – Anchorage, with an honours focused on inorganic precipitation reactions and the resulting fluid instabilities at air-liquid interfaces. She submitted her thesis toward a doctorate in Physics at the University of Auckland in 2018, titled “Agricultural Spray Dynamics for Automated Pollination of Kiwifruit.”
Her specialities and interests are microfluidics, soft matter, biomechanics, image processing and machine vision. Salomé joined Risk Frontiers mid-2018 as an environmental data scientist focusing on modelling hail.
