Risk Scientist – Model Development
Niyas completed his BSc in Physics from Mahatma Gandhi University, India, he then obtained his MSc in Astrophysics from Queen Mary, University of London. He later moved to Australia to do his PhD in Astrophysics from Macquarie University, after which he worked as a post-doctoral researcher at the same university.
Niyas’ interest include data science, numerical modelling, mathematics and physics. Having joined Risk Frontiers in 2016, Niyas is involved in the development of earthquake models in both Australia and New Zealand. Niyas also provides hazard and loss modelling for the benefit of Risk Frontiers’ clients.
