Fiona Lord

Principal, Resilience and Sustainability

Fiona is a Principal, Resilience and Sustainability at Risk Frontiers, with over 17 years of experience in resilience and sustainability research, policy analysis, program management and evaluation. Fiona has worked with Australian and NSW governments and international organisations on resilience and sustainability projects across Australia and the Asia-Pacific. With expertise in delivering social research and evaluation projects, Fiona’s work focuses on high quality and collaborative approaches to designing and implementing research and evaluations. She also has experience in designing monitoring, evaluation, reporting and improvement frameworks, and engaging with a wide range of stakeholders in developing and evaluating programs/policies.

Fiona’s research and policy interests include resilience, sustainable cities, sustainable development, climate change adaptation and mitigation, circular economies, development effectiveness, sustainable financing and natural disaster preparedness, response and recovery.

Fiona has submitted her PhD in Sustainable Futures with the University of Technology, holds a Masters of Environmental Management and Development at the Australian National University, and a Bachelor of Environmental Management and Laws (with Hons) from Macquarie University.
